Exclusively from Villeroy & Boch, made in Central Europe and trusted globally for 25 years: a blend of 60% quartz and sanitary acrylic has created a unique material combining the best properties of both ingredients. Quaryl® allows precise and versatile designs and feels pleasant to the touch. An exceptional material for beautiful bathroom products with lasting value.

Homogeneous quartz crystals are the basis for our special Quaryl® material.
The high content of 60% finely ground quartz powder gives our Quaryl® products their unique durability.
Liquid Quaryl® is formed into the desired shape in a highly precise casting process.

Every Quaryl® product radiates a unique sheen that will continue to fascinate for many years to come. The material’s lasting colour stability and UV-resistance enable it to keep its exclusive colour even when exposed to sunshine. The durable products are very resistant to knocks, impacts and scratches. They can even withstand loads of up to 1,000 kg, as demonstrated regularly by our comprehensive quality checks. And should any minor damage occur, the surfaces can be repaired quickly and easily.

Quaryl® feels pleasantly warm to the touch and will make you feel good from the very first moment. It stores the heat of the bathwater for a very long time, allowing you to enjoy your bath for longer. Its high sound insulation also makes showering a pleasure: Quaryl® shower trays make even a powerful rain shower sound like a quiet whisper. Quaryl® has a natural slip-resistance that helps provide reliable safety. The highest anti-slip class C in our shower trays in matt colours ensures a firm footing.

Easy to clean surfaces support effortless hygiene

The smooth, non-porous and sealed Quaryl® surfaces not only look elegant, they are also quick and easy to clean. They make it almost impossible for dirt to adhere and it can be simply wiped away. Quaryl®, therefore, allows you to enjoy perfect cleanliness and a unique sheen for many years to come.

Acrylic and Quaryl®

Easy-clean surfaces

Both acrylic and Quaryl® are very easy to clean thanks to their non-porous and completely smooth surfaces. To maintain their shine, all that is needed is regular treatment with a sponge and a liquid cleaning product suitable for synthetic materials such as acrylic.

Limescale marks can be easily removed using vinegar-based or special limescale cleaners. Alkaline cleaning products, such as standard washing-up liquid, can be used to remove substances that leave greasy marks.

Whirlpool systems

Tip

To treat minor superficial damage on acrylic, use the acrylic care set available from retailers. For deeper areas of damage, you will also need the acrylic repair set (item no. UCREP0037 for the colour White). After completing the repair, use polish, metal polish or car polish to restore the shine. If you have any further questions, please contact your local sanitary dealer or installer.
