How should I clean and care for my shower toilet over time?

Cleaning the surface of your shower toilet

To clean your shower toilet, you will need a soft sponge or cloth, water and a gentle cleaning product. A neutral-pH product is the best choice. Avoid harsh detergents as these could damage the surface.

Wipe the toilet seat with a soft cloth or sponge and a gentle soap solution, then rinse it with clean water and dry all surfaces and hinges thoroughly.

Cleaning the shower arm of shower toilets

The shower arm in many shower toilet models is self-cleaning. If required, you can extend the shower arm manually and clean it with a soft cloth and clear water.

Removing limescale from a shower toilet

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent limescale. If any limescale deposits do build up on your shower toilet, you can use a regular descaling product to remove them. Test it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it is compatible with the material. After this, you can remove the limescale according to the manufacturer's instructions.

QuickRelease: extra-fast cleaning of the toilet lid

The QuickRelease function on a shower toilet allows you to easily remove the toilet seat and lid for cleaning. This makes it easier to access hard-to-reach areas and very quickly remove deposits and dirt from the toilet seat and lid.

How often should you clean your shower toilet?

You should clean a toilet with an integrated shower around once a day. This will ensure it is quick and easy to clean. A daily cleaning routine prevents any build-up of limescale, mould and bacteria. Many shower toilets already have integrated cleaning functions. The shower arm is often self-cleaning and some models have an integrated descaling function.

Effective cleaning with CeramicPlus and AntiBac
