Simple household remedies: bicarbonate of soda to remove stains

Bicarbonate of soda is a mild scouring agent that can also be used to remove stubborn hair dye stains from ceramic. However, it is less suitable for sensitive materials such as porcelain and enamel.

Vinegar as a household all-rounder

You can also use vinegar to remove hair dye from your washbasin. Simply dilute the vinegar with water, leave the solution to work for 30 minutes and then rinse off.

Various cleaning products can be used to treat stains on your ceramic washbasin. However, never use chemical or abrasive products on natural materials. Rinse hair dye stains off straight away. How to avoid stains on the washbasin

To prevent any accidental drips of hair dye on your washbasin, line it with kitchen paper. An old towel will also protect it from splashes of dye.
